The People's Republic of Everything Decided at Random is a mammoth, efficient nation, ruled by some bloke who won the raffle with an even hand, and notable for its unlimited-speed roads, rampant corporate plagiarism, and public floggings. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 8.133 billion Randomians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous, corrupt government prioritizes Administration, although Defense, Education, and Law & Order are also considered important, while Spirituality isn't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Arbitraria. The average income tax rate is 81.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Randomian economy, worth 681 trillion legal tenders a year, is quite specialized and mostly made up of the Soda Sales industry, with significant contributions from Woodchip Exports, Uranium Mining, and Pizza Delivery. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Safe drinking water is considered a luxury, the government's official stance on religion is that it is so very silly, people are moving into treehouses in record numbers, and the government keeps introducing new foreign species to combat the previous ones it has introduced. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Everything Decided at Random's national animal is the Boghog, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Gambling.
