The Tyrannical Federation of Kazanqa is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Affe with an iron fist, and remarkable for its infamous sell-swords, ban on automobiles, and pith helmet sales. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 1.947 billion Monkeys are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, moralistic government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Käseaffe. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 68.8%.

The all-consuming Monkey economy, worth 189 trillion Kzeros a year, is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Basket Weaving, and Book Publishing. Kazanqa's national animal is the Blue Starred Monkey, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Monkeism.
