The Suspicious Minds of The Realizer is a huge, efficient nation, remarkable for its keen interest in outer space, unlimited-speed roads, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 619 million Realizerians live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

The tiny, corrupt, pro-business, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Defense, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Deathrow. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 4.1%.

The frighteningly efficient Realizerian economy, worth 80.6 trillion Credits a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Soda Sales, Retail, and Pizza Delivery. Average income is an impressive 130,189 Credits, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 706,955 per year while the poor average 12,349, a ratio of 57.2 to 1.

Street preachers sell salvation with a side order of shame on every corner, virtually all of the country's economic activity takes place in Deathrow, senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour, and you can't make an omelet without breaking a few legs. Crime, especially youth-related, is all-pervasive, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. The Realizer's national animal is the Snake, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
