Regional Roleplay Summary – Turn 46 (2nd Half of November)

The People’s Republic of Suandok has issued a formal statement addressing neighbouring nations, regarding its military presence in the Central Thai region. The government stated that the deployment is intended to be temporary and is focused on security, resource provision, and humanitarian assistance. Suandok denied seeking to annex or permanently occupy the region.

The People’s Republic of Suandok also commented on developments involving Gurdanium, recognizing the efforts by the People’s Republic of Atoska to secure the resource and called for international cooperation to prevent smuggling and provide worker protection. The People’s Republic welcomes progress in Guardanium inhibitor development, however, remains concern by the risks and development of Guardanium-based weaponry. The government additionally expressed concern regarding the instability in the Armed Republic of Kyztoska while stating that it had not yet decided whether to provide assistance.

in the People’s Republic of Upper voltaria the government has proposed the creation of an international treaty intended to restrict the weaponization of Gurdanium. The proposal cites concerns over the resource’s potential use in chemical weapons. Under the proposal, signatories would be permitted to use Gurdanium for energy-related purposes, but would be prohibited the from developing Gurdanium-based weapons. The proposed treaty would also establish safety standards intended to reduce the risk of accidents and handling exposure. The Voltarian proposal further calls for the creation of the International Gurdanium Regulations Agency (IGRA), an independent body intended to monitor Gurdanium production and trade among participating states. The IGRA would have the authority to conduct investigations and inspections where necessary to verify treaty compliance. The proposal would also restrict signatories from selling Gurdanium or equipment that could be used in the development of Gurdanium-based weapons to states that have not joined the treaty or to signatories that are found to be non-compliant with its provisions. Trade between compliant signatories would remain permitted under the proposal.

Regional Roleplay Summary – Turn 47 (1st Half of December)

The Nationalist Republic of Donestk becomes the first signatory of the International Treaty on Guardanium Weaponization Prevention proposed by the People’s Republic of Upper voltaria. Following this, the Nationalist Republic called upon the international community for support on the treaty apart of a collective effort to address the dangers of the newly-discovered resource of Gurdanium.

The People’s Republic of Upper voltaria has announced the signing of the Asian Nuclear Non Proliferation Accord (ANNPA) following a landslide parliamentary vote in favour not to develop nuclear weaponry.

Westwards, in the Federation of Marinian States, results are becoming visible from the increased investment into the Federation Army with the completion of organisational restructuring and the training of new specialised units. The Federation Army carried out joint military exercises with the Navy in the Western Turkiye region, while deemed a success, caused minor disruption beyond the western border of the nation, reportedly angering local inhabitants with minor explosions and stray blank shells – an incident awaiting government assessment.

In the Federation's media industry, two major pieces of media have gained nationwide popularity. Golden Phoenix, a superhero comic whose themes draw parallels to the revolution, becomes a cultural success, with Jackal Comics considering an international release and a Bsous-based film company exploring adaptation rights. Separately, a sci-fi television series becomes a major hit, with its season finale setting a record for the most-watched non-live television programme in the Marinian States. The successes further establish Bsous's growing entertainment industry.
