The Empire of Chenjiang is a mid-sized, safe nation, remarkable for its frequent executions and compulsory military service. The hard-working, democratic, devout population of 85 million Chenjiangians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 11.9%.

The Chenjiangian economy, worth 3.67 trillion Zuans a year, is led by the Woodchip Exports industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 43,159 Zuans, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.9 times as much as the poorest.

Children deemed 'disorderly' or otherwise unfit for public schools are shipped off to military academies, corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, the death penalty has been reintroduced, and sleep-deprived officials are known to collapse after late night revision for their examinations. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent. Chenjiang's national animal is the Chinese Dragon.

Chenjiang is ranked 68,615th in the world and 16th in Warzone Asia for Most Cultured, scoring 69 on the Snufflebottom-Wiggendum Pentatonic Scale.
