The Free Land of Fazea is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Millicent Bystander with a fair hand, and notable for its anti-smoking policies, restrictive gun laws, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, democratic population of 1.157 billion Fazeans love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

Terrified neighbors cower behind concertina wire and arrow loops, torture is illegal, members of majority races are forced out of their homes to make way for Bigtopians, and sales of superhero insurance have skyrocketed after the government abandoned the police in favor of vigilantes. Crime is totally unknown. Fazea's national animal is the Badger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
