 The Crimson King of Westwind | That's hard to say. I've periodically had weeks or months of inactivity, and often that's been due to RL health issues. Although sometimes it's just good to take a break from NS. The last month of my TNP Delegacy was difficult due to RL issues that included having my internet turned off, and my power nearly turned off. I went to my office at night to have internet access in order to manage the nightly banjections. As my health worsened, I couldn't do chats, and the doctors were debating if I had only five years to live. The Crimson Order outcome in TNP may have been different if it hadn't been for my health. My TWP Delegacy in 2013/14 gave me the opportunity to take on the challenge of being active nearly daily and helped my recovery, while I helped rebuild TWP. Then I was able to help as Delegate of Christmas for a year after serving as one of Darkesia's TWP Guardians. Of course, back in 2006 when we had The Schism in Equilism, I played the bad guy with the understanding that I could be driven out of Equilism and the game as a result. We were willing to make the sacrifice in order to save Equilism from coming to an end. The addition of Influence to the game had killed R/D gameplay, which was the heart of what Equilism was. We needed a new direction, and I was widely condemned for it. I was surprised that in the end, I was still King. And Consular was kind enough to include a mention of the true plans behind The Schism in my SC commendation. | |
