Well I miss some days but Im usually on top of it besides some occasions like when I take breaks from nationstates I just made going on nationstates apart of my daily routine so I rarely forget to switch regions

So yea if I were you I would make going on nationstates apart of ur daily routine so u rarely forget to switch regions

With all the posts, I thought we got raided.

Kenneth Voyles broke into the Touchstone Granite & Marble company in the early morning hours of Nov. 6, 2023. Courts convicted Voyles of the crimes and he freely admits it under oath in court.

James Grant, the owner of the company was staying in a back room of the establishment at the time. Grant, just rising for the day, stumbled across Voyles in the act of gathering items to steal from the place.

In the ruckus that followed Grant threw a mug of coffee or urine (depending on who you want to believe) at Voyles. Grant followed up with numerous heavy tiles hurled at Voyles. Voyles claims that he repeatedly apologized to Grant while seeking a means of escape from the onslaught.

Grant, still vexed at confronting a robber, retrieved a gun.

This is where the stories differentiate. Grant claims that Voyles picked up a set of bolt cutters and made threatening motions. Grant further claims he repeatedly told Voyles to "get on the ground."

Voyles claims that he was going to use the bolt cutters to cut his way out of the building. He further claims the only words Grant spoke were "You're going to die."

In either case, three shots were fired. Voyles was hit. He managed to escape the building and ran down the street where he collapsed. Police found him there and placed him under arrest while waiting for the ambulance.[1]

Voyles copped a no contest plea to burglary and menacing. He drew five years of drug court for this incident. But he is no stranger to the criminal court system. Voyles has a string of convictions for burglary and car theft. After this incident he ended up doing a year for unrelated car thefts.

Voyles is suing the company and its owner over the events of that morning. Voyles thinks his crime is worth $10 million dollars. He accuses Grant of battery, assault, negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.[2] His lawyer further asserts the company is liable for "failing to implement reasonable policies or training for after-hours security responses."[3]

Oregon law forbids lethal force to defend a business. However, Grant's lawyers assert that he was living on the premises which makes that a dwelling. The police agreed and charged Voyles with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Grant's lawyers are also claiming he was in fear of his life.

To Trans or not to Trans, that is the question. When should a trans individual let someone who is dating them know that they may not have the expected plumbing?

This poll is the result of a local news story detailing the arrest of a man for aggravated assault. It seems the man had been dating someone for a while. When things got intimate, the man discovered that his date was also a man. A fairly serious ground pounding followed that revelation. Reading a couple accounts of the story and filling in some blanks, it appears the only reason this was not a murder was that neighbors heard the screaming and intervened.

But that raises the question. Is a convincing trans person practicing deception right up there with false advertising? When does the potential suitor get to know the truth?
