Project 2025 is mind shattingly awful, MAGA are bloody turkeys. A 900 page tome of totalitarianism and intolerance. Anyone who abstains from voting “as theres no good options” is risking the rights of their fellow Americans.

Those abstaining voting labour are somewhat similar. The tories have hurt people, sending them to rwanda, the DWP have driven people to off themselves, people are choosing between food and electricity, the water companies have failed, this is not how a first world country should be.

The previously announced first round of negotiations involving the Government of Skalliad, the Government of the Sovietskogo Soyuz, the Government of Montecrux, the Government of Haiti in Exile and representatives of the former illegitimate Government of Haiti, which lasted two days, concluded today.

The first agreement was reached between the Government of Skalliad and the Government of the USSR on the mutual prohibition of the use of strategic weapons in the event of an armed conflict between our countries to resolve the Haitian Crisis. Immediately after the verbal agreement was reached, the parties signed an official document legally securing it. While we appreciate this gesture of goodwill, we also note that the Government of Skalliad has no plans for a military solution to the Haitian Crisis.

Unfortunately, the negotiations ended suddenly due to a conflict between members of the Government of Haiti in Exile and representatives of the former illegitimate Government of Haiti in the private part of the negotiations. The conflict quickly escalated from diplomatic dialogue to "diplomacy of dirty words" and then to "diplomacy of fists", forcing the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Skalliad to end the conflict using non-lethal weapons. All injured persons were received timely medical treatment. The Government of Skalliad strongly condemns any uncivilised behaviour at diplomatic events and calls on all parties to exercise restraint to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future.

Following the above incident, the Government of Skalliad and the Government of the USSR have reached a preliminary agreement to hold a second round of negotiations between the two sides, however, the date of the negotiations is currently unknown.

The Government of Skalliad expresses its deep gratitude to the Government of Montecrux for organising the negotiations, striving for peace, and for awarding our President the state award of Montecrux.

Hello people! We're back! I'm here dropping off 2 reminders from our Foreign affairs sec.

First off, we are having a special trivia event hosted by The Realizer! Essentially it's just a version of Only Connect (a gameshow, look it up!) but you have a week to think of an answer. This is open to anyone that has an embassy with us (Us? Them? We?!?) and since we have an embassy with them, any European can participate as well!

We had big Card rewards, but with the recent events, they might be a little more limited. But still; if you like solving riddles, then this might just be for you!
Leaving this week's questions here in case anyone is up for the challenge.

And on the second matter... The regions of Forest and TRTHNBB are co-hosting a chess tournament this saturday (April 27th), Anyone on NS can participate, so if you have some free time, don't heisitate to join them!

At the moment, on the contrary, I need something to do to occupy my free time.

However, the lack of NS has given me a strong motivation to think about my underdeveloped lore, and what I want to add to it. As a result, I now have a lot of ideas, inspiration, and two big factbooks of 30000 characters combined that I want to publish in the coming days
