The Kingdom of Wigmar is a massive, genial nation, renowned for its irreverence towards religion, suspicion of poets, and spontaneously combusting cars. The compassionate, hard-working, democratic population of 2.221 billion Wigmarians are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The tiny government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Industry, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stafford. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.1%.

The thriving Wigmarian economy, worth 145 trillion baht a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Automobile Manufacturing. Average income is 65,351 baht, with the richest citizens earning 9.2 times as much as the poorest.

The mood of raunchy movies is often ruined by the sound of babies crying, the only record being broken at sporting events is the highest death toll, denied drugs and entertainment the nation's youth are taking to petty crime to alleviate their boredom, and the national guard is mobilized whenever a mother gets separated from her child at the mall. Crime, especially youth-related, is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Wigmar's national animal is the lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
