The Republic of Kratoria is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Tiberius I Nero with an iron fist, and remarkable for its pith helmet sales, complete lack of prisons, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.831 billion Kratorians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Administration, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Strategopolis. The average income tax rate is 40.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.
