The People's Republic of El Pasaran is a very large, cultured nation, remarkable for its state-planned economy, punitive income tax rates, and restrictive gun laws. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. El Pasaran's national animal is the tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
