maybe. I am actually thinking about the lore right now coincidentally, more in the context of things I discussed with the Salveen States. Of course, that's practically ancient history at this point

Lolbit the machine persona incited a civil war on planet Fequm. Which was quickly defeated by Chrysalis and the imperial army. Now the two are rivals. Lolbit is now being kept under house arrest in mushroom forest canyon settlement on Fequm. Which as a result of the short lived civil uprising, experiences unnatural rain. Chrysalis and Lolbit consider themselfs rivals because of this. However neccesity demands they work togather amids the arrival of Wolfein exiles from kirin Luna’s juristiction. Both helping the wolfein refugees settle on the colder then Earth, planet Fequm.

Starlight Glimmer studied the cause of the portal anomalies that have been happening on Nova Mothallah. She concluded that they were caused by Shuriken and Katana messing with forbidden artifacts, deep in cave systems under Nova Mothallah’s surface, in order to enhance their magical powers.
Logicaly, she got togather a team of unicorns and earth ponies, to try and fix those magical anomalies caused by those two mischievous kirins. However overdoing it one point with her own teleportation abilities on her mission. Accidentaly disturbing the background magic field in a very specific way that caused another rift in space and time to open. Sucking in Starlight and her entire team to another world before the portal abruptly closed behind them.
They now found themselfs stranded on a planet inhabited by alien creatures. With the planet in question experiencing a very bad case of climate change and slow ozone layer deterioration. They could have just try to open a portal home and leave. However since opening a portal of this magnitute, turned out to be impossible for them at the moment. A new plan was hatched.
They tried to negotiate with the alien creatures to let them own land, while they wait if any rescue would come. Since the incident hed unicorn witnesses back home.
Few years flew by as the stranded ponies were trying to convert the aliens. A heavy metal package was teleported through a small portal. The package contained instructions on how to construct a portal gate to Anocratic empire’s Nova Mothallah.
It wasn’t a portal gate that is normaly used in Anocratic empire. Instead it was a improvised construction that while inspected for defects by alien enginners, the portal ended up destabilizing after being used for over month or so, to save the native aliens from their climate catastrophy and deterioration of the ozone. With the portal gate about to give in and collapse, glowing hot red. Starlight Glimmer made the decision to leave at the last minute before the portal imploded. Saving millions in a chaotic evacuation but being forced to condemn the remaining thousands of aliens remaining on the planet to get cooked by solar radiation.

The small expedition found dangerous magical creatures on one half of the planet, which was divided into multiple islands. The other pangean half being devoid of them. The pangea instead being inhabited by amphibious slug aliens, feline aliens and few other sparsly found humanoids.
The expedition has settled on the pangea for the time being. With three members splitting off to settle an island near the pangea’s coast. Setting up drug production facility with an electric aircraft. They were selling joints laced with pony transformation inducing rainbow fluid.
