Edoca

Congress will contain 3 independent members (MCs). Any further changes to the legislature, including to the number of MCs and the de-nonpartisan-sizing of the chamber are to be decided by referendum or by Congress itself.

This election will be the first to not be held by NationStates poll. There will be a Google Form posted on the beginning of voting where voters should input their voter ID then vote. This is to accommodate for the method of voting (That being allowed to select up to 3 candidates).

1. Be a valid citizen of Edoca who has been such before September 18th and be one who possesses a valid voter ID. Secretaries of the Directory are allowed to run, but must forfeit their original position if they are elected.

2. Create a campaign dispatch introducing yourself, your experience, your policies/plans and why Edocans should vote for you. Please note that conflicts of interest (i.e. Citizenships and/or positions held in other regions) must be mentioned, unless negotiated otherwise with the Government of Edoca.

3. Register your candidacy by telegramming Elections Edoca the following:

4. Wait to be registered. If you are rejected, the reason will be provided and you may be able to rectify any errors.

If registered, begin campaigning. Ethical methods of campaigning includes posting your dispatch once-a-day on the RMB, respectfully telegramming other citizens, and changing your national custom fields (i.e. flag, pretitle and motto). Your dispatch will also be listed below.

The EBL contains two leagues: The Green League and the White League. Teams are placed into a league in a 1-2 order.

As a preliminary format, teams currently play friendly matches on an unscheduled/requested basis with other teams. The results of these matches are released on the Edoca RMB.

You have the liberty to write/design your team's roster, ballpark, graphics and so on; They are not used as of right now, but may come to be used later.
The use of AI as a tool of writing or brainstorming is fine; The use of generative AI to create graphics is forbidden, and you will be forced to deal with a sloppily made graphic from Anakona.
