 Greetings! In this dispatch, there will be answers to some common questions that you, a new nation - may have. A table of contents has been provided. Do note that this is a Work In Progress dispatch. NOTICE! Will gladly take suggestions on what questions to answer next. Feel free to Telegram me and I'll include them in as soon as possible. Help! How do I move to another region? It's simple. First thing you want to do is to open the page of the region you wish to join. To do this, on your main nation - on the left, there should a WORLD button. Hover your mouse pointer over it, and a search button should pop up. Click it, and search for the region you wish to join. Once that's open, scroll down. There should be a button that says "Move Example_Nation to Example_Region!", like the one pictured below. Once you find it, click on it - and you should now be a part of your new region.
Help! How do I stop all these Telegrams asking me to go to another region? To stop receiving Recruitment Telegrams, go to your Telegrams page. In it, there should be a "Preferences" button. Click on it. Here there are settings you can tinker with, but for the purposes of answering the given question, go to the "Filter" area. To stop all of the Recruitment Telegrams, click on Block All. Once you're done, the table should look like this.
Help! How do I upload an image to a factbook? NOTE: The following tutorial is made with the assumption that you are doing this from a desktop device. You can still follow this tutorial from a mobile device as far as I'm aware, but there may or may not be some hiccups along the way. To upload an image to a factbook, you will first have to upload the image of your choice to an image-sharing service. A free and popular image-sharing service is Imgur, though for any reason you cannot access Imgur - alternatives like Imgtop and Pixlr do exist, and their interface should be relatively similar to what I'm going to say. You'll first have to download the image of your choice to your computer to actually upload it onto Imgur, if you haven't already. Once you have the site open, click (or tap) on the new post button. Once that's done, pick the image you want to upload. Now your image is uploaded onto Imgur. To actually upload it onto a factbook, you'll need to copy the images link. To do this, click on the three dots that appear once you hover your mouse cursor on the image. Then click on the Get Share Links option. You'll be confronted with four different versions of your link. Copy the link under the BBCode (Forums) as that is the one NationStates uses. Now, just copy and paste it into your factbook. Once you're done, it should look like [img]*link of your image*[/img].
Help! What is the Trading Cards Game? The Trading Cards game is a 'minigame' of sorts in NationStates. Think of it like Pokemon cards, YugiOh cards and whatever else. There have been two snapshots since the minigame released, where all nations at the given moment were saved and turned into another 'season' of trading cards. Similar to card packs you can get in real life, you'll get a 'pack' of cards if you answer issues every once in a while. You can find your nation's cards page below your Civil Rights, Economy, and Political Freedom stats. For the purposes of this tutorial, I'll only cover how to open packs,
