Questions on How We Do Things in The Pacific

You might have a few questions on how we do things around here in the Pacific, and below you'll find the answer to most of your questions.

Q. What is the New Pacific Order or NPO?

The New Pacific Order (or NPO) is the standing government of the Pacific. We are a multi-game community that saw its founding in NationStates. The Empress of the New Pacific Order is Xoriet and is assisted by the Senate. It was founded in August 2003 and has been thriving ever since.

Q. How can I be a part of the NPO?

It's simple. To become a part of the New Pacific Order, you have to endorse our Empress and obtain citizenship. That's it. Within 1-4 days, you're now officially a Pacifican. You can now begin your journey in the Pacific; that journey may revolve around seeing cute cat pictures, or jumping with the Legio Pacifica - there's quite a lot for you to explore.

Q. Who are the people in charge? What do they do?

You can find the list of the people in charge and what they do here.

Q. When will the next WA Delegate be elected?

The Pacific is a meritocracy, meaning that people are given posts depending on their skills and achievements. The Emperor/Empress can appoint a worthy successor when they so choose, known as a Regent - that will take on the mantle of the Emperor/Empress of the New Pacific Order whenever the Emperor/Empress resigns from their post.

Q. What are the laws of the Pacific?

The Civil Code of the New Pacific Order is a list of all the laws that the New Pacific Order has. All Pacificans must follow it or face ejection.

Q. What can I do in the NPO (in relation to jobs)?

The NPO has many departments any citizen can join. Once you have been accepted as a citizen, you can sign up to join any of the departments in the Job Market by messaging the Senator in charge of the department.

Q. Who do I address when...

...I see a rule violation?

You should report rule violations to our Regional Officers. Mention/telegram/ping them about the rule violation and it will be addressed in quick succession.

...someone from another region upsets/threatens/bullies me?

You should contact our Regent Pasybfic or Empress Xoriet regarding any person from another region who upsets/threatens/bullies you. We take it seriously when one of our own are upset/threatened/bullied and will take action.

...someone makes me violate a law (enticing for violation or endo cap pushing)?

You should contact a Regional Officer if someone entices you or someone else to violate the Civil Code of the Pacific.

...I want to withdraw my application to becoming a citizen?

You should post indicating such in your citizenship application.
