Assault on Puffadder HQ One of the objectives to Operation Druk Terug has been to assault the Puffadder HQ of the RANF, this has been selected first due to its less populated and open landscape, 15 Casspirs and 15 Patria AMV's transporting troops was in the middle of the attack with 12 Jagter 1's leading the assault to protect APC's carrying troops and 10 Ratel IFV's, 10 Boxer APC's carrying troops and 10 Badger IFV's will support the leading assault and protect the tanks from RANF Soldiers using close Anti-Tank equipment on them. All vehicles will also have infantry support to further help in preventing RANF soldiers in getting close to the armored forces. Before the assault began reconnaissance inspected enemy positions, possible Anti-Tank weapons and unexpectedly found 7 T72 tanks which promptly was reported to Allied forces, thereafter 6 PA91 Fighters performed strafe runs and bombing runs across the HQ to decimate both enemy personnel and any equipment capable of destroying armored vehicles. once the strafe runs are done and most of the RANF forces hurt. the attack would commence. After fierce fighting for roughly 7 days the RANF HQ was defeated by Transvaalli Forces which swiftly captured any personnel who surrendered and shot any who were fleeing, reportedly, fighting was intense as unexpectedly a extra 4 T72 tanks reinforced the defense of Puffadder which slowed fighting and additional troops arrived slowly by sneaking into the battle and ambushing forces already fighting on one side. luckily with air support and the impressive results of the Jagter 1 with some reports saying that during the fighting with the T72's the Jagter 1's sustained multiple hits against its armor but impressively most did not penetrate the armor as most shells shattered against the J1's armor. only one Jagter 1 sustained minor damage to its barrel and tracks. in the end it was a hard fought victory against the RANF and tips the scale in Aftermath of the battle:
