We confirm at 21:02 Nubian Time (UTC+2) there was a successful interception of the unauthorised aircraft, which crashed in southern Halayeb State. However we also confirm that several structures near the mountains of Jebel Direib, Jebel Wadhait, Jebel Moderai, Jebel Meisa, and Jebel Umm'ein were hit by the unauthorised launches. The Ministry is not currently revealing information on the hit targets. | The Republic of Lower Nubia | Possible Trade Talks with the Republic of India, 6th April, 2024 Statement by the Ministry of International Trade "The Republic has been made aware through it's ambassador to the Republic of The Ministry of International Trade has begun the process of surveying Nubian consumers and businesses on the current difficulties of any trade and exchange between the Republic and India with the goal of negotiating a possible deal which tackles these concerns and barriers. The Ministry has also began assembling a trade envoy to discuss the opening stages of any trade agreement as well as hear the ideas of the recently established Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Ministry's trade envoy will hopefully meet their respective counterparts as soon as the Indian government agrees to advance the to the next stage of talks and negotiations. The Republic will primarily look for regulatory standardisation between Nubian-Indian goods to reduce customs documents, financial services regulatory standardisations, as well as begin the process of recognition of professional regulations between the two countries to allow people from either country to work in the other. NATIONAL ENERGY MARK Statement by Samuel da Silva "Ahead of the national budget that will enter effect on 1 August, and be announced and debated during June, the government of the Khoikhois Republic is introducing a four-year energy target, called the National Energy Mark (NEM). The NEM seeks to review and renew energy commitments by Khoikhoia and is expected to be fully in effect by 31 January 2028. It will focus on three aspects: fossil fuels, renewables, and governance. "Firstly, fossil fuels, used greatly for fuel and electricity. A total of KE100 million in funding will be allocated to petroleum and natural gas exploration, expected to create 500 new jobs and search the country for petroleum and natural gas reserves. KE30 million will be allocated to Olikhoia, the N49 concerned with petroleum discovery, and KE70 million to National Gas, the N49 concerned with the discovery of natural gas. Coal will remain a major source of fuel and electricity for Khoikhoia. From across the board, a massive investment of KE3.5 billion will be allocated to the coal industry, hoping to create at least 2,500 new jobs in coal mining and transportation. Khoikhoia will also look at signing crucial trade deals to import oil into the country, as it is an essential fuel source. "Secondly, renewables. Khoikhoia will look at renewables as a major source of electricity in the future. However, biofuels will not be ignored and will receive a research investment of KE50 million, through various N49s. Still, solar and nuclear energy will be prioritised, with each receiving an investment of KE1 billion, through the N49s KhoiSolar and the Khoikhoia Nuclear Company (KONUCA), respectively. This will aim to increase research into each source of energy, as well as produce more of it. "Solar panels are intended to be built mainly to power homes and larger buildings, with research into larger-scale energy provision. At least 1,500 jobs are expected to be created from this. Nuclear power will see extended research, with the construction of one power plant expected, and more on the table. This will require cooperation with other nations. KONUCA expects the creation of at least 1,100 jobs. Funding for renewables will largely come from the Ministry of the Environment, which will be relieved from responsibility for renewable energy. "In total, this includes a provision for KE5.65 billion investment and the creation of at least 5,600 new jobs over the next four years. However, this will not be possible without governance, the NEM's third goal. Through the creation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Energy, with sole oversight of the NEM and the ability to rein in and dialogue with all N49s, ministries, and government organs, as well as energy receiving higher importance at cabinet meetings, the NEM will see a successful implementation. "This will all be financed with a general reinvestment of government funds. Government spending will not increase! When the budget is made public, the specifics will be made known to all. General cuts to spending, including welfare cuts, will be made to provide tax cuts. Funds within the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Energy itself will not be redirected or cut, as the ministry will receive greater attention from the government.  The Republic of Indiaxxx | Topic: April 2024 General Elections Electional Commision of India (ECI) have annouced general elections which would elect the Lok Sabha of the Parliament of India. Overall 697 Lok Sabha seats are to be elected by the people of India. Under the guidance of the President, Electoral Commission of India have rolled out new procedures to make the elections more transparent. Politicians are required to submit all their criminal cases and information on their finances whihc would be made public by the ECI. Any form of donations made to a political party must be sent through the Reserve Bank of India which in turn will send it through the ECI. In addition the Government of India will be providing political parties with funds for campaigning due to new political parties coming up which lack the funds, it will be given depending on the seats contested and would only be decided by the ECI. ECI expects the polls to start at 20 April and end by 24 April after which the results would be declared on 25 April. Due to the recent development in politics, ECI is expecting a higher turnout and engaging in aggressive advertising to encourage people to come and vote. Additional poll booths are also planned. After the Lok Sabha Elections are over, the Rajya Sabha would be elected. States of Barak, former UP states, Vidarbha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kotidweep, Maru Pradesh, Ladakh, Saraikistan, Bihar and former Madya Pradesh states (except Malwa) would also be having their state elections which will start after the General elections. ECI have registered the following Coalition and parties which would be contesting in the elections. All parties must submit their list of candinates by 10 April, final proposed Prime Minister and Union Cabinet members must be presented by 16 April by all coalitions and political parties. In 1970, he tried to be elected mayor of Nice (Troy's hometown), but ended up placing 6th. In 1975, he was selected to be one of 290 delegates to the Electoral College, accepting the proposal.
