The basket case Yogimatopian economy, worth 96.2 billion Shillings a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, with major contributions from Trout Farming, Information Technology, and Tourism. Average income is 16,032 Shillings, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Turning the other cheek is accompanied by a polite letter of complaint, abortions are routinely performed in the nation's hospitals, some paycheques only arrive every 12 to 24 weeks, and for some reason the census focuses on daily banana ingestion and hourly quip rate. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Yogimatopia's national animal is the Orangutan, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
