The Republic of Damaskia is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Loidberg with an even hand, and notable for its frequent executions, otherworldly petting zoo, and devotion to social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, devout population of 1.957 billion Damaskians are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed, including voting.
