Fendas and fascist collaborators from The Fascist Reserve Army, somewhat exceeding their 'mandate') defended this region, despite resistance by UNAF, the First Battle of League of Fascist States was lost.

UNAF, however, just don't do giving up. They passed themselves off as natives, and, despite the presence of the fascist collaborator Tawhiwhi in the region, UNAF stormed LoFS and confiscated this region.
