I guess, but in Maryland there have still been 100 degree Fahrenheit days up into like October

Now, I'm not from anywhere particularly cold, but at least our temperatures shift quickly out of the summer.

The Rise of House Ptolomos

Peter Ivanovich III was dead to begin with, his rotting corpse had been left on the throne of the Iasacian royal palace for a week, the Iasacian summer heat causing it to fester in its own liquids. Few would enter the throne room as a result of this. In the meantime arguments had broken out between the four remaining heirs to the throne, there was the first in line David Peter Ivanovich, a senile and deaf 100 year old man by the time his father had died, the second in line, his brother, Octavian Ivanovich was 88 and was aging fast. As for their own children, all their heirs had been stricken from the record after Napoleon and Theodosius had fled the country.

However, Lurking in the shadows was the House Advisor, the 88-year old Ptolemy Ptolomos III, a descendant of Antiochus Seluces II, who had been the first human ruler of Kazakhstan on Artemis...the Seluces family had maintained a grip on the lands until Selus Seluces IV lost the throne of Kazakhstan to a neko, therefore casting the family down into misery.

However, an escape from poverty was provided in 2545 when Hadi Seluces married into the wealthy Nasir family, a Yazakh family which had immigrated to Equestria on Aethent following the countries final dissolution in 2520. A marriage to the wealthy Ptolomos family of Iasacia in 2562 cemented the Ptolomos-Seluces line. Such was the lineage of Ptolemy Ptolomos III, who had been hired as a close advisor to the ailing Peter III.

Stepping forward to the dueling family he proposed that as the closest confidant to the Tsar, he should be awarded the throne. Initially being laughed down, the deal was cemented when he noted that there no longer were any heirs that could legally take the throne. As such he was proclaimed the new Tsar of Iasacia, being considered the last resort for the Ivanovich Family.

Thus the Reign of Ptolemy Ptolomos III began in Iasacia.

A Saturn V X34B Rocket has had a launch faliure at Launch Complex 39D at the Joe Smith Space Center in Cape Wooloo, Florida. No one was onboard. This is the first ASEA rocket failure since 2670. It is presumed to be a fuel leak which caused the explosion during engine ignition. Pad 39D has been damaged and will be out of action for 3 Years to be rebuilt. The ASEA Mission Control Team in Helsinki Finland is working to find out what caused the issue and if it was a fuel leak.

The Holy Roman Empire supplying arms to the UAR would have been just one of the many actions the Empire would have taken as a Co-Belligerent. The Imperium attempted to shell America into a bloody fate of oblivion through their strikes on the civilian and military sectors of the nation. The Imperium hoped to force America to surrender under their might, but as long as the Americans held on, the arms shipments and Imperial involvement would continue. Many Imperial officers would have disagreed on the next plan of action, leading to deliberation about the best course forward.

Consequently, the military minds of the Empire devised a new draft plan, recognizing that simply sending arms wasn't enough to win a war against this formidable threat. The armed forces of the Holy Roman Empire were not considered on par with the rest of the galaxy, as they were untested in large-scale conflicts. After much discussion between the Army and the Navy, it was planned to harass any Imperium supply lines or ships being sent to the planet Ryuten using their fleets. The primary aim was not to fully engage the Imperium's navy at its strongest, but rather to harass them, while also serving the secondary function of probing the Imperium's naval strength for further study. The Empire was keen on understanding how Imperium ships functioned and the types of tactics they would soon face in a frontal offensive in the future. Post-war, it was planned to implement changes for the navy and army based on the effectiveness of their campaigns. The Holy Roman Empire would have dispatched its fleet to scout out the Imperium supply ships or potential routes as they'd raid the lines from relative safety. This would continue to go on as long as it needed to go on.

Thrawn: "In my hand is a recording of a meeting between Baron James Kant, a member of the traitorous Kant Family, and Irulan on the topic of possibly overthrowing the government of Archduchess Ophelia."

He looked at Julian and the others, his face stern once again.

Thrawn: "This is quite direct in my eyes, a clear will to try and destabilize a part of the Hegemony simply because of a grievance. This is a very serious matter to our national sovereignty."

He would hand the recording to an aide who then brought it over to the Columbians for review. He would wait to see what they had to say, also to allow Ophelia to talk about her own side of the story.

She leaned back.

Ophelia: "Equestria would request immediate and swift action on this matter, while we sort out the other half this ordeal."

She remained calm and collected, something which would seem odd perhaps to those who had known of Equestrian erratic behaviour, even odder the calmness that she maintained about such a greivous crime.

Supreme Chancellor Lucia: "I don't see why we cant just rid our hands of Irulan...Id prefer she not be causing issues that i have to work to fix harder. I already have plenty of that..."

Prince John: "We don't need a possibly Pro Imperium rebellion in India either. It might cause similar in Galar if it manages to gain enough traction. or in the Duchy of Turtle Creek down in Gatuamala and Yucatan."

Over a massive River they can see the skyline of the city and the palace in the distance, indeed she was right as despite the impossible distance they can still see it and it also looks closer than it would actually be

Aurelian was truly in awe when he saw the city in the distance. There was no reason for it to show up when they were hundreds of miles away and yet there it was, gleaming in the distance. He could feel the cool breeze of the misty air flow around him as they stood by the river. He took it all in, fully relaxed for the first time in a while.

Aurelian: "This... this is awsome."

He said, his voice quieter than normal as he paid attention to the view. He then looked over to Sky, her smile still causing his heart to beat just a little bit faster. He wanted to say how pretty she looked then and there but stayed silent for the time being, not wanting to make the situation awkward.
