I mean, we're literally part of Columbia as a Union State. Plus, we have a thriving home-grown military industry and make all of our equipment ourselves. If we ever need to make it ourselves, we can just buy the plans and start making them home-grown ourselves.
And risk raising protests and violence in your area because their beloved leader is in court? If she could travel and hold an hour long conversation to undermine a hegemonic state she can travel under life support to appear in court elsewhere.
Irulan's plans had come to fruition on Ryuten. After two years of trekking through the large stretches of open territory between Ebbot and the Olenlians, the Untecnans had broken through the lines of the last few pockets of resistance and declared themselves victorious.
Immediately, the process would begin to convert any non-humans in the territory to humans, as well as establish regional governments that would remain loyal to Irulan.
Just a few days later, she would reach the age of 18, and a minor announcement of this event would be released, to which a large amount of fanfare would appear from the Untecnan public.
In her chambers, she would seem to ponder a strange sense that she had. She sensed that someone had leaked her assistance to Kant, and felt as though, perhaps, it was time to finish her own plan. Her plan would involve sabotaging Kant, and this would require a meeting with Ophelia and Lembas.
Another issue that she pondered was of her conversation with Julian. She knew that she was under watch, but as of right now, there was not much she could do. Perhaps if she appeased Julian, or better yet, the Regent, she could get rid of the FIB's meddling.
She would send a private letter to Lembas, telling him that she would require a meeting with him and Ophelia, and that she trusted him to arrange Ophelia's presence.
Her final decision would be to try and fund some way to lessen the effects of her disease, to perhaps reach a better standard of health.

Larger Nationstates would still be able to exist (just not in africa. for obvious reasons) for example i was planning like some Military Junta America (A mix of Panem and Pre War Fallout US) who had occupied Canada for resources and additional land to its own refugees from its flooded costal cities, and refugees who had to evacuate due to Prairie Island Nuclear Power Plant, (Which ontop of contaminating a stupidlly large area, also containments THE ENTIRE Mississippi River and downstream into the Gulf of Mexico), R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant and Calvert Cliff Nuclear Disasters. So peopld would be able to create there country. and ideally most of earth would be claimed. it would only be 1 year after this event. Year would be like 2029. around 5 months after. (it happened on November 6th, 2028) Yes this is slighly a reference to the Thanos funny."
The two ideas I could have is maybe some kind of Neo-Nazi or otherwise nationalistic European nation.
Or, since I'm on a socialist song binge with the United Front and Solidarity Forever, a French Socialist Republic of the remaining members of society banding together in a sort of first among equals syndicalism way.
Lembas would quietly convene with Ophelia, handing her the letter, after reading it she would agree to meet with Irulan. Partly to be able to look into the eyes of the one who was arranging to betray her.
Lembas via Ophelia would arrange for the meeting to occur in a small private property on Equestrian Ryuten
Yeah, probably. Something along those lines. It would be something like the societal advancement after the Black Death. So many people died and so much chaos and destruction was caused that the remaining people banded together and shifted the entire fabric of society as a result.
