Exactly. Vaccination can not really halt and/or ease the spread. You could technically do vaccination equivalen of chemotherapy, but that is pretty much it

Yeah that may not work out too well given our regional map, and the fact that Anteria is closed-world (so Earth does not exist in the canon). You're welcome to stay of course, but would not be able to RP with the current nation.

Day 1, 2 and 3 of Operation Perun

Operation Perun began after the Kentalian National Navy’s first fleet (from here on referred to as the KFF) entered Vultesian naval territory in the Paisic ocean on 8 February 2021. After repeated requests to leave, the Vultesian Naval Service’s Expeditionary Fleet (from here on referred to as the VEF) engaged the KFF in combat. The first day, the weather was unsatisfactory, the northern wind ranged from 29 to 32 knots, while the rain only came in at 8.43 AM. Neither side was able to get their full airwing into the sky. The VEF was the first of the two fleets which detected the other, and while neither ship scoring a kill, the KNM Leshen and VNS Prowler came into a quick exchange of fire at 13.34 PM. The first major loss came later in the evening when a Vultesian aircraft scored a kill on the KMS Vukašinović, ‘destroying’ the ship after launching a missile. The night remained calm, with neither side actively engaging the other.

Day 2 was way more intensive, as the wind calmed down to 23 knots. The first kill of the day came at 5.32 AM when a ship to ship missile, launched from the KNM Jeseko, impacted the VNS Patriotic, ‘sinking’ the ship. A few other missiles were fired from the Jeseko, but none hit their designated targets. In the air, both fleets were able to launch their air wings with the intention of sinking each others carrier. In between the two fleets, a deadly dogfight started from 12.45 PM to 13.32 PM, with Kentalian aircraft killing three of their Vultesian counterparts, while the Vultesians only killed one. In the end, neither side achieved their original mission and both sides retreated back to their carriers. The final action during the day came at 19.54 PM when a mine, laid by the KNM Bosador killed the VFA Sustainer.

The night saw a lot of heavy fighting, as the KNM Parin and KNM Leshen opened fire upon the VNS Intrepid, which was damaged. The combat continued into 10 February, as multiple ships from both sides moved towards the combat area. In the end, three Kentalian ships were killed, compared to only two Vultesian ships. The weather was slightly cloudy with a strong wind, but both carriers were able to launch their air wings, with the same mission as the day before. Kill the enemy carrier. This time, no dogfight began, since the Kentalian aircraft were still on the carrier when the Vultesian aircraft were in the skies. The Vultesians scored a kill on the KNM Arikovac before they entered a dogfight with Kentalian aircraft at 11.32 AM. The Kentalians once again succeeded in fending off the Vultesian aircraft, with the Kentalians having no downed aircraft. Thanks to the fact that the dogfight took place over the Kentalian Aircraft screen. The dogfight took more than three hours, and during that, an extremely tense battle took place underwater, where the KNM Admiral Georgijević fought against the VNS Huntsman. Both crews were incredibly impressed by their counterpart’s tactics, even though neither side was able to score a kill.

Intervention in Assumptaria

As the civil war in Assumptaria enters its second week, fears among the government have risen on whether this will be a threat to Bakyern's security, considering Assumptaria is a bordering nation. Defense Secretary Palat Berikman has refused to make any open statements regarding any involvement in Assumptaria, but the Speaker of the House has called a meeting in congress for February 13 for discussion of possible involvement in Bakyern and a declaration of war against the socialist rebels in Assumptaria. Bakyern has only seen heightened security across the border, but it seems as the military is already preparing for a spillover as reports of fighter wings already being mobilized and put on-standby and Civil Defense bodies of towns and municipalities along the border being fully prepared. However, Bakyern's response has not taken place yet, and it may be some time before it occurs.

Bomb Explosion rocks Bainbridge, Police Chief among the dead

BAINBRIDGE - A large explosion rocked the Valcourian capital this morning, killing two people including a city police chief who had been attempting to crack down on the city’s organized crime syndicates.

“In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Bainbridge this morning, Martin Kolburn, police chief of district five of Bainbridge, was martyred along with his assistant,” interior ministry spokesman Thomas Arley said.

Another three people were wounded, he added.

The blast originated from a car near the Serenity Hotel, although a police spokesman said there were no casualties within the hotel.

District five, where Kolburn was based, is located in the southern reaches of Bainbridge, and includes the major freeways between the capital and Valcouria’s southern dominions, which have begun experiencing growing crime rates.

Kolburn had sought to crack down on the rising levels of organized crime in the district in recent months.

Just for record, I want to have it said. This is Bakyern 2's decision, we in the Sekidean Union have nothing to do with it. SU is a defensive treaty, we do not participate in offensive actions.

Zhousheng's response (and pretty much response of Mustelaria as a whole tbh): War is bad. You could have tried to solve it peacefully, but you decided to start a war. We can not commend that, but we can see your point and we are not going to stop you either. Just please try to avoid next autistic thing you may land on.

Airstrikes in Assumptaria

Reports have been coming in as airstrikes have occurred in rebel territory in Assumptaria. Just a few minutes ago, the Department of Defense has accepted involvement, stating that those airstrikes came from Bak aircraft that were deployed earlier that day. While the targets hit have not been completely specified, the air force has confirmed multiple supply depots, artillery posts, and defenses have been hit across the northern borders of the rebel-held territories. Many people have already stated that this is a declaration of war, even though Congress has yet to vote on the declaration of war. Movement from ground troops has not yet been reported, but brigades of mechanized infantry and armor have been building up by the border, with supply lines already being established. It seems that Bakyern is already in a state of war.
