The Holy Eternal Empire of The Third Duloch is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by The Supreme Lord Führquaad with an iron fist, and remarkable for its deadly medical pandemics, sprawling nuclear power plants, and public floggings. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless, devout population of 8.318 billion Dulochians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Industry, and Spirituality are also considered important, while Welfare and Social Policy aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Duloc. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 57.1%.

The all-consuming Dulochian economy, worth 879 trillion Dulochian Marks a year, is fairly diversified and dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Uranium Mining, Automobile Manufacturing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. City workers have declared that rolling markets aren't good for business after all, children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, homeless people can be found sleeping on streets in front of unoccupied second homes, and The Supreme Lord Führquaad is the self-declared God of all The Third Duloch. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. The Third Duloch's national animal is the Dulochian Imperial Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Führquaad.
