The Republic of Qual Gual is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Leader McLeaderface with a fair hand, and remarkable for its daily referendums, free-roaming dinosaurs, and otherworldly petting zoo. The compassionate, democratic population of 1.648 billion Qual Gualians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous, liberal, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Welfare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of San Kopaignbay. The average income tax rate is 91.6%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Qual Gualian economy, worth 221 trillion dollars a year, is quite specialized and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 134,132 dollars, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

One little fight can find you movin' to be the fresh prince of Ilba, the price of takeaway food quadruples after 6pm, patriotic citizens chant "there's only one Qual Gual" at foreigners, and AI citizens are criticized for being robotic. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Qual Gual's national animal is the panda, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Qual Gual is ranked 288,618th in the world and 1,746th in the Plains of Perdition for Fattest Citizens, with 5.7 Obesity Rate.
