Bewildered steelworkers cook caviar in the microwave, the poor are often seen pale and dizzy after selling their blood to make ends meet, many marriages go virtually unconsummated, and military spending is on the increase. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Puppeit's national animal is the cow, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
