Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The very strong Error-202ian economy, worth 137 trillion Euros a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Cheese Exports. Average income is 68,931 Euros, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 222,134 per year while the poor average 16,186, a ratio of 13.7 to 1.

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, military spending recently hit a new high, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and entire families swing in the wind at the national gallows. Crime is moderate, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Error-202's national animal is the Parrot.
