2 years 32 days ago	Therenta	New proposal: Vacation of Office Act Vacation of Office Act by Therenta Vacation of Office Act Any elected or appointed official shall be automatically removed from office for any of the following reasons: A criminal conviction Leaving the region for more than twenty four hours Holding any position in another region concurrently with the same nation that you hold a Union Pacifica position Senators may also be removed for failing to vote on three pieces of legislation consecutively Any removal from office may be performed by members of the executive however the removed official shall be entitled to challenge the removal at the Supreme Court Should the office holder be the High Chancellor, the removal may only be instigated by the Governor Following the successful removal of the official from office, the subsequent method shall apply: If a minister, the High Chancellor shall appoint a new individual to the office If a Senator, the President of the Senate shall appoint a successor If this office is vacant the duty shall be fulfilled by the Leader of the Senate If the High Chancellor, the Senate shall meet to elect a new officeholder using the standard method This act shall not apply to members of the Supreme Court and they may be only removed by a two thirds vote in the Senate Read dispatch The grand union kingdom, Rustica, and Falesquo
