It once again affirms that Sequoyah acts as a pariah and a failed state, unable to protect its own inhabitants and enforce law and order within its borders.But now, more comes to light. Paleocacher, in an act of pure negligence, declined to investigate the companies it was dealing with, and violated TCN Resolution 019 and with it, the basic sense of integrity a government is meant to possess. Paleocaher is incapable of handling the affairs relating to foreign states entirely. This has been shown with the alleged Xussman mercenaries, Ernest Pyle, and now Sequoyah. The government of Quebecshire is demanding Sequoyah provide reparations, housing, paths to employment, and other needs to the slaves that were uncovered in this warehouse. Additionally, we are restating our demand for Pyle's extradition on espionage charges, and that Paleocacher publicly apologizes for its errors in Sequoyah and assist Sequoyah in paying the reparations. Documents retrieved by the soldiers exposed an elaborate scheme in which hundreds of indigenous peoples were kept enslaved months after TCN 19 passed and well after the Treaty of Freemont was ratified. It is incredibly horrifying that this all occurred without the knowledge of the Sequoyan government or the international community. While we do commend the Sequoyan Deseret Rangers and the Sequoyan government for their actions in exposing this slave-driven warehouse, it is concerning that not one of the 78 Sequoyans working at the warehouse reported the horrendous conditions to the Sequoyan government. We would again like to reiterate that the nation of Gagium is willing to aid Sequoyah in helping root out human traffickers and slavers still operating in the nation. However, we cannot leave it at that. Earlier today, a publication written by the Sequoyan government alleged that the nation of Paleocacher was involved in this. In this publication, it was revealed that Paleocacher provided machinery, advisors, and training to the Central Railroad Company in exchange for access to mineral deposits. In Paleocacher's infinite greed and disregard for human life, they signed a deal with the Central Railroad Company without taking any actions to investigate whether the CRC was practicing slavery or not. As a result of this, Sequoyah has cut off ties with Paleocacher. We would like to utterly condemn the nation of Paleocacher for violating international law and conducting business with a Sequoyan enterprise that had enslaved hundreds of people in a single warehouse alone. They associated with the President of the Central Railroad and used bulldozers, other construction equipment, and trained engineers to help him complete construction on the transcontinental line first granting his company unlimited access to the mineral deposits there. Once he had them he promised the conspirators exclusive access to several rich mineral deposits, potentially worth billions of selkies in profits. Even though they checked to see if the railroad was still using slave labor they were too lazy to check properly. All of the people I have named either have been arrested or will be arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit fraud. Secretary Burnett has been sacked and the Department of Foreign Affairs is temporarily under the head of the vice president. We apologize to the Sequoyan people for our complicity in this situation.
