The Empire of Jarenova is a gargantuan, orderly nation, ruled by Emperor Markus Voelker with an iron fist, and remarkable for its closed borders, avowedly heterosexual populace, and ubiquitous missile silos. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 16.595 billion Jarenovians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Healthcare, Law & Order, and Education are also considered important.
