yes, so much so that i put religions on national security risk because they prioritize their religion over knowledge
(before you @ me, over 1 million indians got positive from covid because of their hindu festival stuff, i told you.)

agreed, in my country the 2 candidates are:
1. a person that pretends to be some progressive left-wing liberal, but also wanted to keep his older, more conservative voters so his running mate is the same guy that is responsible for the ahok thing, a goddamn extremist is his running mate. false promises and corruption rose (jokowi)
2. some militaristic a*hole with an official twitter account simping for women, pretends to be native-indonesian and soeharto's son-in-law when he knew that he is chinese-indonesian and soeharto is known for his sinophobic laws. also a cringy conservative. (prabowo)
in this case you just have to choose the less "worse" one, its similar in other countries as well the politics is just black and white
you got "progressive left-wing liberals" who thought that being near-communist is progressive (you know communism always fail and socialism on have very slow growth and innovation) and then on the other side you got those damn boomer conservatives (who are just as slow as leftist in terms of progression in society because of their religious stuff and exclusionary capitalism)
and before you guys quote me, yes I'm a classic capitalist liberal and on top of that im not some rich businessman complaining. My family have a business however because government red tapes our business can't grow and the business is still very small, it needed to grow.
all the "capitalism is failing" stuff on media is caused because their capitalism is exclusionary, meaning only a few people can participate in business so the average person just make below minimum wage. and also if you think that socialism and communism is more equal, on paper it looks equal but if you look deeper, since the government manages all money and distribute it to people, it is still unequal because government officials tend to be powerful and corrupt so it is just as bad as exclusionary capitalism. So in my capitalism, yes there are labor unions, heavily-subsidized healthcare, very extensive labor laws and probably free university but it is open to people so everyone got the same chance in life.

is "you cant be moral without being religious" true to you?
