For now there is a tight control on information in the Halai'b Desert area, but we can confirm that anti-terror operations have been underway for the past day and will continue for some time. The Joint Theatre Command for the Anti-RANF Coalition (ARC), alongside the Ministry of Defence, is maintaining a no fly zone across much of the Halai'b Desert, as well as continuing to prohibit access to non-military personnel across the northern parts of the Halai'b desert. With the capture of these locations, Nubian, Akzvorian, and Nebraskan forces repositioned with stationed units of the Joint Commands armed forces, such as portions of the 1st Mechanised Rifle Brigade of the Republic, and reserve forces of the Arabian Death Guard, to resupply and prepare positions for the future offensive on RANF HQ's Jebel Direib and Jebel Heiana. With the initial operation on the 7th concluded, strikes were called onto the positions of Jebel Direib and Jebel Heiana. The Gran Fedaration of On the 9th May Akzvoria forces reported multiples encounters with RANF forces attempting to retreat from target areas or scout groups probing for weakness, with Akzvoria militia managing to hold position, while inflicting large casualties for minimal losses. Early in the morning of May 10th we confirm multi retaliatory attacks by RANF near Jebel Moderai, with the destruction of several vehicles through the use of RPGs and IEDs. We can also confirm sustained small arms fire across the entire desert flats from Jebel Heiana to Jebel Direib. Another incident this morning concerning an unknown minefield west of the Jebel Anweiyib claimed 2 vehicles. So far the Minister and Joint Task Force are not releasing casualty figures, though we anticipate them to be lower than those received in the operation conducted on May 7th. Early this morning at Jebel Heiana Nubian 1st and 2nd Mechanised Rifle Brigade forces maintained the line along the Wadi Dufayt, north of the Halayeb Road, while the Akzvorian Arabian Death Guard held the flats between Jebel Anweiyib along the Wadi Fiqu to Jebel Koran Kansi and Jebel Wadhait - the primary armoured core of the Akzvoria forces was stationed here. The Nebraskan 1st Expeditionary Force was positioned between Kila Arib and Jebel Gerf. Several Fighters came out wearing all black and armed to the teeth, they began to occupy territory they are operating in. Soon enough Zamorikan Officials in the area were either captured or had to leave. Indian Forces in the affected areas also had to leave, RANF fighters used the tactics of surroundings Indian Battalions stationed and began to attack, leaving a corridor open for them to leave. Zamorikan Security Forces and Indian RR Battalions were overwhelmed and forced to withdraw immediately as RANF used almost whatever it could bring for the operation, they cleverly took advantage of the inpreparedness of the Anti-RANF Coalition which still not able to reserve its gains much. Anti-RANF Forces mainly managed to retreat in an orderly fashion as RANF intentionally avoided destroying units to prevent engagements where the enemy is desparately fighting and hence causing more RANF losses.
