Sorry for my late response, I've been playing hoi4 all evening.

Anyway, welcome to Alesia! I hope you guys have a great stay!
In my opnion, I think that roleplay shouldn't be stuck to the technological/ideological/cultural confines of certain years, and neither should you base yourself on a real nation, and if you do, make sure to keep everything original!
Roleplay should be about making your own story, not about complementing a preset one.

Outside of roleplay, allow me to talk about myself as a introduction to you!
I'm Ramo, the player behind Huri, I've been playing Nationstates for around 2 years, I'm really into worldbuilding and am TRYING to write some kind of short book on google docs for really no reason at all except for my creativity.
I'm from the south of Brazil with mainly Ukrainian/Italian heritage and am a democratic socialilst
