Conservative Party Leader Responds to Accusations
Accusations that the leader of the People's Action Party - also known as the Conservative Party - Michael Helu MP corresponded with the Princeps has been promptly denied on social media.

Mr. Helu MP stated on social media - "There are rumours that I have corresponded Princeps Felics Basztyn. These are not true. The People's Action Party of Gassasinia stands for an open democracy based on unalienable fundamental rights in line with Gassasinian values. It is not the state's responsibility to pick and choose who can exercise their right to protest. Likewise, it is not the state's responsibility to dictate the relations between two consenting adults."

An anonymous spokesperson from the Gassasinian National Police has responded to reporters, stating that despite calls from certain LGBTQ+ activists to investigate Michael Helu MP for collusion, there is "no evidence of any correspondence with Mr. Basztyn that would constitute collusion. As such, we do not believe we have any solid basis to investigate such accusations."

The Gassasinian National Police has reiterated that it is doing its' best to ensure the orderly procession of protests outside the embassy, and to ensure the safety of protesters and embassy staff alike, highlighting that protests have as of current remained orderly and cooperative with police.
