Ōyōkhakhan (overlord) Yōkübō kübōvōnō watches the control center of the nations military capital, all military operations are ordered and established or transmitted to here in some way.
A lesser ranking official, Ezhüjakhan (secretary commander) Lükaz Ewynj̈ carrying a printed paper
“Excuse me my overlord, we have received a message in Phenomia.”
The overlord takes the paper and quickly deciphers it
“Z̆̊̇nt m̯̣pྀtj༵ đ̯̥̣lq g༙ʃmི tŋཽ žlb ç̆̇dpོl çv༙ɱྀ wɡཽʃk̯̥̣ -q̆̊̇ŋ đħ༵nི༙” the message reads
Developed using a partially artificial language to create the code “Phenomia” can only be translated by officials who know the language, especially high ranking officials, having a code is one thing, having a language nobody could understand but you is another, especially if it’s complex...
“What does it say my lord?”
“It says a riot broke out and military equipment was stolen, further more it happened at the golden castle...they needed reinforcements”
“Do you think it’s them?”
“It’s certainly possible...I’ll send a reply, don’t worry...”
The overlord heads to his office and sends a reply
“Dzི༙d hྀn̯̣ j̆̊̇m yŋ đdི?”
No reply...
“Dzི༙d hྀn̯̣ j̆̊̇m yŋ đdི? j̯̣f ʃŋ ɬnོ༙v̐x?”
No reply...
As he typed his third message he received a message
“ʃnོ w̯̣yn jnིħ”
“Know no war”
The next few messages said the following:
“There is no such thing as peace
There is only chaos
For the many to live in happiness the few must suffer
We will bring suffering to others to make the world flourish
The blood stained earth shall never be cleaned
We are an idea, ideas can never be killed
Through passion we gain power
Through power we gain victory
Through victory the world bends at our will
Our will is final
For all must die someday, but we shall make these pointless years tolerable
This is the way, this is our way, and soon it will be your way.”
The overlord was now sure it was them, the zapizapas who have been a massive pain in mineras side since the beginning of thier existence have returned in a new form, despite the purge
One common misconception is that it’s one group, in truth it’s an umbrella of ideologies and “heretical” beliefs, in the past they attempted to gain power in garnel but have always failed
However despite what outsiders think not all zapizapas are bad per say, just radical or very unique in thier beliefs, in fact one of the most famous cults internally is the zapizapas group “Yōsōka” meaning “the revival”
Their practices include raising money for the poor and giving jobs to the homeless, However the way they do this is often radical as some members have emptied thier own banks to help those in need, as they believe in the old principle that “for someone to live happily someone must suffer equally” and believe they must take the sacrifice for others.
In other cases they act as vigilante groups attacking organized crime sparking entire gang or mafia wars in the past pre purge.
In essence zapizapas is a title not a group, it’s a group of people who have radical unique or downright insane ideas of how the world works
In this case the newest incarnation of the “Azhragva” or the “agressives” is the “Öctlum ś mortis” or “death’s right hand” which aims to further purge garnel of any dissent, through violent means of course, they did this by openly attacking anyone at nationalist protests promoting unification or war and hunting everyone down like deer in a forest.
But that isn’t all, as a result of thier rising a new group formed from the targets banding together simply called “Abysnē ävid” or “black swords” have began campaigns against them with their end goals being to hopefully force garnel into reunification.
Initially neither were considered national threats, especially since parts of both groups such as important leaders and many members were arrested and sentenced to jail or death for terrorism
But now that either octlum or Avid has gone as far as seizing military equipment, the army will have no choice but to get involved
Until then however the overlord sends garō to attempt to join both groups and find out everything they can as a double spy of sorts.
