We had hoped the lessons of history would not be so swiftly forgotten. Montagnes d'Or cannot in good faith sustain diplomatic or economic relations with nations willing to engage in the buying and selling of human beings. We are beginning the process of recalling our ambassadors from such countries and expelling their counterparts from our own. Military action to disrupt this evil trade is very much an option and we would be interested to hear whether other governments would be inclined towards coordinated international action.
