Two things to celebrate today: first, it is Administrative Professionals' Day. Administrative professionals make things happen. As administrative assistants, executive secretaries, receptionists, and more, they keep the trains running on time and often do so with incredible patience and kindness. I still remember my grade school secretary and her kindness, and I also remember the main secretary in my high school who wasn't so kind. Still, we celebrate all administrative professionals!

Second, it is British National Tea Day.

Tea? Never or very, very rarely touch the stuff. I know we Brits are supposed to be obsessed with dried leaves in boiling water but I much prefer coffee.

tea doesn't taste good

I like it, but I don't drink it everyday like it's my last one though.

The sparkling Lipton ice tea they sell in service stations that doesn't qualify even remotely as real tea. That's the good stuff.

I love iced tea, not very British of me I suppose, but it tastes better

I love loose-leaf English breakfast from a brand whose name eludes me at the moment I drink it every morning when I have some though I must come clean I'm American so I'm not sure how "British" that type of tea is.

I'm from the South in the US, so I guess I should like sweet iced tea... but I absolutely hate it. I don't mind a cup of Earl Grey every now and again, but I definitely prefer coffee - especially espresso.
