about the more prominent religion I want to mention that paganism didn't forbid homosexuality, this proves that opposition is more "modern"

Sorry but you're wrong once again, and it's quite easily proved since when the fundamental human rights were declared by the united nations, usa, uk, ussr and many other countries had homosexuality a crime, this means that the primary five countries of the united nations did not address homosexuality in the charter. By time countries started to legalize it and give lgbt rights, like it was before persia's criminalization, but it was not as originally interpreted by the un.

Edit: I just looked at wikipedia and it admits that only since 1994 homosexuals were protected from punishments. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_at_the_United_Nations
