| Nightthorn | Nightthorn locking off incoming travel from Materikia With the very strict regulations one must pass to enter the nation of Nightthorn, it is of no surprise to the citizen population when the administration today announced that any individuals coming from Abjekistan will be subject to rigorous health checks and quarantined as deemed necessary. Non-citizens who have been in the region of Materikia after the confirmation of the new Bulyakopoxus or a week prior to then will not be permitted to pass the border or will be returned to their departure location as a precautionary measure. While others would say this response is rather extreme for the disease compared to how much of an issue it is at the moment, Nightthorn has absolutely no tolerance of potential threats to it citizen's health and wellbeing. Not like they like having too many visitors anyway, so if anything, some are just saying this is being used as an excuse to further limit incoming visitors. | |

| Amrelia | The Whiteford Examiner, the capital's independent daily Federal Ministry of Public Health monitoring the "Bulyak Pox" in Abjekistan At an afternoon press conference with the First Consul, head of the Federal Ministry of Public Health (FMPH) Jaqueline Faulkner made it clear to reporters that the government is closely following the situation in Abjekistan's Materikia region, where there have been two dozen more cases of a virus belonging to the Poxviridae family. The virus is said to be very contagious and deadly. Faulkner said that neither the FMPH nor other top public health officials believe that the Amrelian homeland is currently at risk, however stressed that the situation is ongoing and could change by the day. First Consul Carrington said that Amrelians can rest assured the Directory and government would remain on top of the matter. | Qui latine | A meeting between Sayida and Sama-allayl: ' The cars drove to the entrance, and after stopping at a slow deceleration, Sama-allayl stepped out from the vehicle. After stepping out, he looked around at the Sayida estate; It was a truly delightful place, reminiscent of Leeds Castle if it was missing the portion that sticks out from the land. Like a lot of noble buildings, it had been an adaptation of a much older building. He had arrived at the driveway of the smaller structure of the castle. It is much like the maiden's tower building but missing the crenelations and towers. Not notably, but with the right look, it became apparent that a cherry red paint had weathered from the surface years ago. The square-shaped building made of tan limestone had white trimmed windows that lined its walls evenly. When the doors opened to the sound of his hand knocking, the man of the house stepped out. Sayida and Sama-allayl had never met in person before. Only letters had connected the families before Sama-allayl rose to noble familial business. Each man looked forward towards each other and stuck out their hands for a substantial shake. "Hello, Sayida, I am delighted to be here. We, great men, may learn and grow with this meeting, and I hope you agree. I have brought my ripe mind and my iron-will with me to your home.". Sayida nodded, "I hope you did. We are here to discuss our friendship. You would think we'd have that figured out after years of letters, but you have now risen." Sayida opened the door slightly more as if to invite him in, "Please, do you want a tour before we begin?". "Show me the rooms on the way, but I won't require any more extravagance," Sama-allayl said. The door opened, and the two stepped in, following a hallway leading left. Its roof was curved, and like the walls, it was painted white. "My father decorated this hallway. The door on the left should lead to the dining room," Explained Sayida. It swung open with a quiet creak, and the room ahead seemed bathed in reflective light. They both sat at the table, accompanied by three or four of the Sayida family. "So, you make steel, and I make wine. What is the best path to cooperation when the businesses don't require each other's goods?" Asked Old Sayida, the father of Sayida Saghith, the man who had greeted Sama-allayl in. Sama-allayl looked towards Old Sayida, "The goal is not to partner and cooperate directly; Our job as noble families is to produce for the people and not each other. So, that raises the question, How do we best serve someone like Jalubi who doesn't have the money to buy from us?". Old Sayida looked astonished but at the same time, interested deeply in what he had to say, "Please, go on.". Sama allayl studied the rest of the family, "Well, what project is currently helping the Jalubi and several other people settle in and gain a higher disposable income? That's right, the Cuirve city project. I suggest we invest in the construction and try to get our businesses ready to serve them.". The Sayida family nodded, and Sayida Saghith inquired, "But how much do you suggest?". "Two billion, and I know it's a massive adventure; This business requires we make hard decisions," Sama-allayl asserted, inviting a look of shock from the family. Sayida Saghith looked to Old Sayida, "That would be a billion from us. We can certainly afford it, and it would make our favorite ally, Seipor Basha, very happy. A steel business in the area would help construction too, and the wine industry will keep the workers happy and working hard. I see the appeal, and we should probably agree.".
