The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | Fine, I will bring my whole army of 805,000 footsoldiers, 655 artillery pieces and 1300 AFVs (including 300 tanks) as well as all of my air force. I will have to conquer the whole lot of you so that you stop this stupidity!
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | Also I will have to bring in 5 aircraft carriers and 10 battleships as well as 100 ships of smaller sizes
Kentalis | So much for realism. Neuewland, Junterland, Apple landia, and The veritian empire

The Xogheknate of Neuewland | Goddamn aren't you a naval power
Apple landia | Funny, my army of 2 million soldiers is double BOTH of yours and Kistolia’s armies combined. I’m also recruiting more each day, fight me I dare you.
The Xogheknate of Neuewland
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | No, I have commando barracks in most of the country and they have 10 years of very tough training
Apple landia | Yes, but you have 100,000 for 800,000 troops.
The veritian empire | Wtf has this RMB turned into? Yall remember when this used to be fun anf realistic? Hadian and Halsuntria
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | Keep in mind at least 79% of my soldiers have at least 10-25 years of experience
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | I've got 1300 AFVs and 655 artillery pieces. I expect that your army has at least half of both and don't get me started on the navy
Vultesia | Seriously, man. You have a relatively small country, on the far side of Anteria. Unless you're covered in some sort of mega city, I'm not quite sure where you're getting the man power to recruit and armed forces with a commando corps in the six figures...or even an army that big. And then the economy to have enough vehicles to transport them across the globe, with not even the vaguest of reasons. Just give this one a miss, write some domestic articles or something. There are plenty of people here willing to give you a hand.
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | Thats what lots of manpower creates in combination with lots of barracks

The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | I've got 26million people with established Latvian military traditions
The Free Land of Latvia and Saaremaa | And cya, goodnight
Kentalis | Alright, to avoid people spamming, I'm going to say some things myself. Latvia and Saaremaa. Mate, 800,000 soldiers aren't realistic, especially not for an army which, as far as I can see, has no unstable neighbours. Why is your government spending so much? There is no good reason. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Apple landia | Let’s see here, I have compulsory military service for at least 2-3 years, spends a 4th of my GDP on military (thank you USA for that one), and I have around 46 million people with a relatively large GDP (I also am medium-sized and not small).
Gassasinia | OOC: I wish to remind you that two can play the military asspulling game. The USA certainly /does not/ spend a quarter of it's GDP on it's military. You might be confusing GDP with government budget. GDP is your country's /total income/, whereas government budget is the budget that your government has as a result of taxes, properties, etcetera. The USA's military spending, last I remember, is 3.42% of their total GDP. A quarter of your GDP being spent on military is not at all sustainable, and is something that you'd likely only expect in a few very very very extreme circumstances, such as a country which is well into a military war and has had time to gear their economy towards their military. As it stands, the biggest military spender as a proportion of GDP is Saudi Arabia, at 8% of their total GDP.
Vultesia | The United States spends about 3.5% of its GDP on defence, a 4th would be over seven times that.
Apple landia | USA spends more than me, and I spend more than China (because screw my economy).
The Xogheknate of Neuewland | The highest percentage IRL is 8% at saudi arabia, with 25% being military spending your people must constantly be dying as a result of famine and other such issues that come alongside extreme poverty
Apple landia | Rules for rulers 101: never spend money on your citizens.
Nicersdah | My president didnt feed his people well and once they knew there was an alternative... well... Neuewland and Junterland |
