The Incorporated States of Terrabod | As I understand it, there are plenty of nukes coming at us all the time - but our faction-mates are so fast at intercepting that they essentially don't show up in "incoming". I think there's also an element of people targeting us with their nukes (which itself takes some time) but not pressing "launch" immediately when those nukes are ready, so there's a backlog there. EDIT: That's so cool, Ru! Didn't know we could do that! Daarwyrth, Ruinenlust, and Middle Barael
The Federated Bailiwicks of Verdant Haven | I don't have the ability to participate much this year, so I'll just repeat a couple things I end up having to repeat in Discord an awful lot... 1) FOLLOW ORDERS 2) Yes, that means you. Do not independently target, launch, or otherwise mess around. 3) Follow orders. 4) When our generals order us to strike, we will do so with tens of thousands of launches at a time. When we are attacked, we will need tens of thousands of shields at a time. Do not mess around. 5) The scoreboard is completely irrelevant early in the event. This goes on for 24 hours, and it's only in the last few hours it really means anything. 6) Follow orders. 7) If you do something stupid like launch without orders, expect your missiles to be blocked by our own alliance mates, and yourself to be treated harshly. Messing around endangers all of us. 8) Follow orders. Einswenn, Mount Seymour, Daarwyrth, Ruinenlust, and 4 othersAzaffran, Middle Barael, Seonhan, and Caer neamh
The Rewilding of Ruinenlust | So should we be both intercepting incoming missiles and also launches at this point? Like, I see a few heading out and everything, but that's not what the orders are. So should we be preventing anyone within the faction from shooting outward for the time being? Mount Seymour, Daarwyrth, Terrabod, Azaffran, and 2 othersMiddle Barael, and Garbelia

The United Sovereign Queendoms of Rhodevus | lol, why is someone shielding nukes being fired by our own alliance?
The Rogue Nation of Volksrealm | discord says intercepting our own rogue launches is a courtesy so we can do it if we feel like it, but otherwise focus on stockpiling shields/defending ourselves
The Incorporated States of Terrabod | No word on outbound nukes from command, but some rando on the discord told me to only intercept inbound nukes, so... *shrug*
The Federated Bailiwicks of Verdant Haven | Under no circumstance should we be firing nukes. Attacking literally anybody can result in a massive retaliatory attack on us that weakens us before the real fight even begins. No shots should be fired, period. Current orders: All specialties should focus on producing shields right now. Do not produce nukes. Do not target or fire on any other factions or nations. Ownzone, Daarwyrth, Ruinenlust, Middle Barael, and 2 othersDifinbelk, and Caer neamh
Maricarland | How do we use shields to protect other nations, and how do we identify the nations that need our protection? Terrabod, Middle Barael, and Difinbelk
The Pacific Alpine Commonwealth of Mount Seymour | Intercepting incoming missiles is the top priority. Preventing rogues in our faction from shooting outward should only be done if they're shooting at Crabs of the Apocalypse, with whom we have a 12-hour Mutual Defence Pact. It's not the end of the world if one slips through there, since they'll shoot it down anyway, but it's courteous. The Federated Bailiwicks of Verdant Haven | On the Faction page (page=faction/fid=1), the "Incoming" icon second from right will turn bright red and show a number indicating how many incoming missiles currently exist. If you click on the "incoming" icon, it will take you to a list of incoming missiles, and you can select "Destroy" next to them to deploy your shields 1:1 and protect an ally. Domination industrial enterprises | Pinned the orders dispatch, apologies to the writing contest winners dispatch I depinned to make room Ownzone, Terrabod, Middle Barael, and Summerforest
The Incorporated States of Terrabod | Don't worry about it! If I had thought about it at the time, I'd have taken all of my pinned dispatches down a week and a half ago when I was still Culture Minister and still had Appearance powers. Daarwyrth and Middle Barael
The Ruinenlustian Puppet of ProForestation | Lol, I just realized like a complete idiot that I do have one puppet, and so I can double my production, haha. Daarwyrth, Ruinenlust, Terrabod, Middle Barael, and 1 otherCaer neamh
The Rewilding of Ruinenlust | It is truly I! I always forget about ProForestation, but this is exactly when it's useful to have. Daarwyrth, Terrabod, and Middle Barael
The Republic of Effazio | Once again I am not participating in the apocalypse. The NationStates apocalypse that is. Jutsa and Middle Barael
The Easter VrijStaat of Ownzone | Update from Potato command. Fire at will!! As long as it is not CRAB. We are still trying to make it to the dawn. But there is a serious chance there will be only 2 factions standing at that point. I'll be on watch for another hour or so. I'll be heading to my bunker after that. The Reaper of Lord Dominator | New orders: Make only nukes There will be a big firing some number of hours in the future Mount Seymour, Ruinenlust, Middle Barael, and Seonhan
The Pacific Alpine Commonwealth of Mount Seymour | Update: We're essentially certain that we won't make first place or be able to withstand Crabs should they attack. This is due to no planning fault of our own - they're simply so massive. We're currently producing nukes for a big targeting event at some indefinite future point, and otherwise deciding what our longer-term strategy will be (die quickly or die slowly?). I'm letting all of you know because I want to be transparent. I'd ask that everyone not take this as an opportunity to start complaining/fear-mongering/worrying, since we're all in the same boat here. We'll finish out the event strong and with our Potato Alliance friends, no matter how exactly we make it happen. Keep having fun for as long as you can! Kepler-0085 | Abeilla DONT SHOOT THE CRABS
The Green Otters' State of Garbelia | I made a modest little puppet dump to make some little attacks from so they wouldn't affect the potato alliance's score. 5 nations in it, 500 radiation. Good times. I might just take Garbelia out of the game and into the neutral zone for when the crabs attack.
Kepler-0085 | like some crab isnt pointing over 30 nukes at me rn
The Green Otters' State of Garbelia | So much for the 'truce'.
