The Thwungler Empire of Ziroxeut is a colossal, orderly nation, ruled by Atrio Gosduo with an iron fist, and notable for its parental licensing program, anti-smoking policies, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 9.079 billion Ziroxians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large, corrupt, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Healthcare, Law & Order, and Education also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cellent. The average income tax rate is 82.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Ziroxeutian economy, worth a remarkable 1,498 trillion zyxes a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Retail, and Book Publishing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Wrongful arrests abound as 'criminals' blame the guy next to them, citizens who don't recite the Pledge of Ziroxeut at least three times a day are placed on a terrorist watch-list, it's entirely possible foreign diplomats misheard when Ziroxeut offered the words "peace be upon you", and Ziroxeutian athletes are close to breaking the 2 minute mile and the 16 meter long jump. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ziroxeut's national animal is the radiocutter, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Murderism.
