The Federation of The New Valyrian Freehold is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Freeholder Rhaella Vesperonis with an even hand, and renowned for its compulsory military service and suspicion of poets. The hard-nosed, hard-working, devout population of 9.359 billion Valyrians are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed.
