The United Socialist States of Sebros is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by President Otbert Brandywood with a fair hand, and renowned for its multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, digital currency, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, democratic population of 3.775 billion Sebrosians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ruinrym Erdel. The average income tax rate is 93.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The cruise missile launchers on the field hospital roof are purely deterrent in purpose, beaches are empty as the shark population multiplies exponentially, members of the government all have oddly similar anecdotes about their childhoods, and it is illegal to make racist remarks in public. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sebros's national animal is the bison, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Universalism.
