The Colony of Sarroros is a colossal, efficient nation, renowned for its parental licensing program, frequent executions, and ubiquitous missile silos. The hard-nosed, humorless, devout population of 6.572 billion Sarrorosians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Industry. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 29.6%.

The very strong Sarrorosian economy, worth 409 trillion florins a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Black market activity is extensive. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 62,260 florins, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 239,380 per year while the poor average 11,151, a ratio of 21.5 to 1.

Government negotiators never forget to say "pretty please" when begging for custody of its criminals, populations of two-headed snakes have been found around recently-uncovered archaeological sites, droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, and military service is compulsory. Crime is a problem. Sarroros's national animal is the snake, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Sarroros is ranked 254,710th in the world and 1,580th in Jihad Army of the Emperor for Highest Foreign Aid Spending, scoring -7.07 on the Clooney Contribution Index.
