The Sparkly Tomato Nation of Toramicaball is a massive, genial nation, ruled by General Secretary Tomato-ica with a fair hand, and renowned for its state-planned economy, irreverence towards religion, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate, democratic population of 2.031 billion Toramicans love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The large, socially-minded government prioritizes Welfare, although Healthcare, Education, and Defense are also considered important, while Spirituality receives no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Blocgrad but Sparkly. The average income tax rate is 40.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped Toramican economy, worth 60.1 trillion Tomatoes a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal.
