The Free Land of Numtopia is a small, socially progressive nation, renowned for its keen interest in outer space, irreverence towards religion, and absence of drug laws. Crime, especially youth-related, is a problem, probably because of the absence of a police force. Numtopia's national animal is the Numbat, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.
