The Great State of Dzuk is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Rowan with an iron fist, and renowned for its free-roaming dinosaurs, absence of drug laws, and stringent health and safety legislation. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 1.969 billion Dzukians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rownas. The average income tax rate is 91.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Dzukian economy, worth 280 trillion Karūnąs a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, and Trout Farming. Average income is an impressive 142,588 Karūnąs, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The number of judges has tripled in recent months, the government has started a campaign to crack down on road rage and encourage alternate means of commuting, cars are banned, and soldiers who shoot themselves in the foot are regarded as heroes. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Dzuk's national animal is the Sphinx, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Atheism.

Dzuk is ranked 197,174^th in the world and 556^th in The Communist Bloc for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring -2.45 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
