The Socialist People's Republic of Mepraria is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by Fhun Iun with an iron fist, and remarkable for its strictly enforced bedtime, frequent executions, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 5.2 billion Meprarians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded government prioritizes Defense, with Administration, Law & Order, and Education also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Diijihao. The average income tax rate is 85.6%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Meprarian economy, worth 669 trillion Meprarian rubles a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Book Publishing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 128,780 Meprarian rubles, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The general public only knows their favorite politician's first name, the Forestry Department has decided you really can't fight fire with fire, raver DJ XStacy holds multiple medical degrees in chillaxing, and skateparks can be found in every city. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Mepraria's national animal is the Bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Tribyhism.
